A tough one today! Psalm 9 is a strong challenge, and full of strong lines.

When there's so much in one chapter, I have to make do with trying to convey the overall sense.

But today that means I've missed the likes of:

"The LORD sits enthroned forever."
"He is a refuge for the oppressed."
"Arise, O LORD! Let the nations be judged."

V 1 I will give thanks to you, Lord, with all my heart;
The opening of this Psalm reminds us to give thanks to God wholeheartedly not half
heartedly. Give thanks for His majesty, power, love and righteous judgement.

What do you make of this chapter? What do you think of my summary? How would you summarise it?

I summarised all 1,189 chapters of the Bible on Twitter - one tweet per chapter, one chapter per day for over three years.

These are the summaries of the book of Psalms.

They are written to help you understand and remember what's going on in the chapter, but they're no substitute for reading the Bible for yourself.
