When we no longer sing songs of joy, it is usually an indication that the joy of the Lord has gone from our life - maybe from a sin that is trying to creep in.
As the chorus says, we need to...Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord; give thanks to God for everything...

What do you make of this chapter? What do you think of my summary? How would you summarise it?

Chris Juby

I summarised all 1,189 chapters of the Bible on Twitter - one tweet per chapter, one chapter per day for over three years.

These are the summaries of the book of Psalms.

They are written to help you understand and remember what's going on in the chapter, but they're no substitute for reading the Bible for yourself.
