Wonderfully summarised. Thank you.

God chose to work in the life of the prophet Hosea - resulting in a powerful example of love and redemption.
This same power is made available for us through the death and resurrection of Christ.

God tells Hosea to take a wife of whoredom. To have children with her. For the land they live in forsakes the Lord. God declares he will have no mercy on Israel and they are not his people.

What do you make of this chapter? What do you think of my summary? How would you summarise it?

Chris Juby

I summarised all 1,189 chapters of the Bible on Twitter - one tweet per chapter, one chapter per day for over three years.

These are the summaries of the book of Hosea.

They are written to help you understand and remember what's going on in the chapter, but they're no substitute for reading the Bible for yourself.
