Jon

The Book of Habakkuk chapter 1 defines God raising an enemy nation to punish Israel for sinful pride.

Habakkuk 1 also defines God raising an enemy group to chastise the prideful believer.

Nice consolidation of Habakkuk chapter 1.

V 3 Why do you make me look at injustice?
We need to see injustice and be moved by Him to be used by Him, knowing He has ultimate control and final judgement is His alone.

What do you make of this chapter? What do you think of my summary? How would you summarise it?

Chris Juby

I summarised all 1,189 chapters of the Bible on Twitter - one tweet per chapter, one chapter per day for over three years.

These are the summaries of the book of Habakkuk.

They are written to help you understand and remember what's going on in the chapter, but they're no substitute for reading the Bible for yourself.
