V 11 I will restore David’s fallen shelter ...
A prophecy of the coming Messiah.. although the northern kingdom had rejected God, God promises to restore David’s royal line. This would make a way for all people to return to Him – fulfilled in the Messiah, Jesus Christ, who is of the tabernacle of David.
