Sometimes I wonder why David wasn't allowed to build God's House.

Carolyn

He had sinned against God and had blood on his hands He committed adultery with Bathsheba and had Uriah, the husband of Bathsheba killed to cover up his sin.

God Bless.

no! David was a man of war, as well as king of israel. kings usually did not go to wars and primarily, shading blood could make one unworthy to appear befrore god, simply in his house. bear in mind that blood shed during wars was different from that which priest were associated with in the altar. that is another reason why david, as a man of war was not allowed to build the dwelling of god

18 Then King David went in and sat before the Lord....
We always do well when we go in and sit before the Lord.

This is a great website. Sometimes I read the Bible and don't understand What the point is of some chapters, so I come here and it explains the importance in a simple manner.

Neil, I feel the same way. Have you read the summaries for Revelation?
