V 31 Jesus took the Twelve aside and told them, ‘We are going up to Jerusalem, and everything that is written by the prophets about the Son of Man will be fulfilled.
The prophets by divine guidance wrote hundreds of years earlier what would happen to the Son of Man and now it was about to be fulfilled......as it is also written He will come again and it will be fulfilled.
