Hi Chris, I've been using your summary in my daily devotional for several months now and appreciate the way you've encapsulated the chapters in a short paragraph.
My question is regarding Galatians 4:14 where it briefly describes Paul's condition. It seems his condition is grotesque defined by the time he was stoned, but there's other issues he physically displays yet the Galatians overlook those. Can you describe all that Paul displays in his appearance here?

Interesting question about Gal 4. I'd not given it much thought before. I suppose from the reference in v15 to their wanting to give him their eyes it's probably about problems with Paul's eyesight. I've heard people speculating that to be the reason for the 'large letters' he uses in Gal 6 as well. That would certainly make sense of him being a burden to them.

V 17 Those people are zealous to win you over, but for no good.
There will always be people who want to take us back to the old way of living...but we are to stand firm and keep the faith.

What do you make of this chapter? What do you think of my summary? How would you summarise it?

I summarised all 1,189 chapters of the Bible on Twitter - one tweet per chapter, one chapter per day for over three years.

These are the summaries of the book of Galatians.

They are written to help you understand and remember what's going on in the chapter, but they're no substitute for reading the Bible for yourself.
