Sunshine

Hi! What is the explanation of this 2Kings Ch5? Or How do you apply this in our life?
Thanks, Sunshine

Hi Sunshine, I'm sure there are lots of different ways you could apply this story, but one would be: Sometimes the thing God calls you to do might seem trivial or humiliating (like Naaman washing in the Jordan) but you have to trust that he knows the best thing.

Gehazi thought his action was unseen but Elisha the prophet was well aware of what he had done, as is God.
V 26 But Elisha said to him, ‘Was not my spirit with you when the man got down from his chariot to meet you?

What do you make of this chapter? What do you think of my summary? How would you summarise it?

Chris Juby

I summarised all 1,189 chapters of the Bible on Twitter - one tweet per chapter, one chapter per day for over three years.

These are the summaries of the book of 2 Kings.

They are written to help you understand and remember what's going on in the chapter, but they're no substitute for reading the Bible for yourself.

Find out about the project here, you can buy the Bible Summary book on Kindle or in paperback, and feel free to get in contact if you have any comments or questions.
